TOSCANA RICICLA PAVILLON
Toscana Ricicla - an integrated communication platform involving 12 regional entities, between public companies and Entities (Tuscany Region, Revet, Quadrifoglio, Publiambiente, Seitoscana, ...), linked to the circular economy of waste – in 2016 has created the "Week of Quality", a regular and itinerant appointment that wants to give the right communication to raise the quality of the collected material.
For this reason Arch. Chiara Fanigliulo was commissioned to design a stand that hosts conferences and meetings and shows what can be produced by recycling materials.
The pavilion, inaugurated in November 2016 in Piazza Repubblica in Florence and then moved to various cities in Tuscany, uses materials from the recycling industry: profiles, coatings, floorings and plastic shingles, cardboard furnishings, a rack steel, aluminum objects, glass bottles, paper decorations, all strictly obtained from recycling.
The walls, given by a "full-void" game of profiles, oriented along the diagonal axes of the stand, open the space and identify 4 areas: exhibition area, closed environment revitalized by lights and green; children area with children's lodge; garden area with vertical green wall; lounge area, set up with recycled cardboard furniture and covered by a transparent roof that makes the pavillon maintain the contact and integration around.
